The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo 2008 :
Well Read Books was proud to attend the 2008 Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo on April 26 and 27 at the Calgary Stampede Round up centre.
Last year we attended the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo on April 29, 2007. We had such a successful and wonderful day interacting with those who dropped by our tables that we decided to go back to this event!
This year did not disappoint us either! There was a host of great guests including George Takei, Tricia Helfer, and Kevin Sorbo. We were fortunate enough to meet George and Kevin, but missed Tricia who was only there for a short time on April 26. Pictured below our Well Read Books table.

Well Read Books was plesantly surprised at the characters who stopped by our tables from dangerous Bounty Hunters, Lords of the Sith, Stormtroopers, Jedi, Federation Officers, Klingons, Super Heroes, Colonial Marines and even Ghost Busters. Despite the wide variety of political, philosphical, and technological differences there was peace in the universe!
