Shereeda Mohammed, owner and founder of Well Read Books, is a fan of the mystery, science fiction and fantasy genres. Growing up Shereeda read mystery books and became an avid fan of the genre.

She vowed to read every Agatha Christie book ever written. Sadly, she did not accomplish the task.She has however gone on to read other mystery authors. She is a big fan of British mystery authors such as Margery Allingham, Agatha Christie, Wilkie Collins, Colin Dexter, P.D. James, Michael Jecks, Nagaio

Marsh and Ruth Rendell. She first fell in love with science fiction when she wrote a science fiction story in grade seven. Her delivery of the story to her classmates got her 10/10 marks.
While Shereeda wishes she could duplicate her writing success from grade seven, she has not been able to. She did however write several essays as a University of Calgary student. Some of the essays earned her top marks but few publishing offers.
While at the University getting her English and History degrees, Shereeda took a Science Fiction English class. There she fell in love with Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", Ursula K. Le Guin's "Left Hand of Darkness" and of course, Frank Herbert's "Dune".
Besides reading Shereeda is an avid fan of movies and television. She enjoys watching Andromeda and Star Trek: Enterprise. She has watched Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999 and all of the other Star Trek series. She is also a fan of Aliens, Predators and Star Wars.
